TURNING GUESTS INTO LIVING WARHAMMER FIGURES
For the Games Workshop Veterans Celebration, we created a bespoke Glambot activation inside a Nottingham conference centre.
Guests stepped onto a specially constructed Warhammer display base and performed with prop weapons as the Glambot moved around them. The camera began close to the action before sweeping backwards to reveal the complete base—making each participant appear like a Warhammer figure brought to life.

A REVEAL BUILT AROUND THE BRAND
The creative idea used the Glambot’s movement to tell a simple visual story.
Close framing placed the focus on each guest as they struck a pose or swung their weapon. As the robotic camera pulled away, the wider shot revealed the Warhammer base beneath them and transformed the scale of the scene.
The result was immediately recognisable, highly relevant to the audience and rooted in the visual world of Warhammer.
GUESTS BECAME PART OF THE UNIVERSE
Rather than simply recording attendees against a branded background, the activation gave them a character to play.
Guests could choose their pose, interact with the props and deliver their own dramatic performance. Super slow motion enhanced every weapon swing, expression and movement, turning a few seconds of participation into a cinematic character reveal.
WHY THE ACTIVATION WORKED
A GENUINELY BRANDED IDEA
The Warhammer base was not simply decoration. It formed the payoff to the camera move and made the brand central to every finished video.

Participants needed no acting experience or complicated instructions. A strong pose or single weapon movement was enough to create an effective sequence.

The experience allowed guests to step inside a world they already knew and become part of it, creating a strong personal connection with the celebration.
A SPECTACLE WITHIN THE VENUE
The moving robot, themed platform and guest performances created a live attraction for attendees watching nearby as well as content for those taking part.

The camera move and reveal remained consistent throughout the event, while each guest’s choice of pose, prop and performance made their video unique.
